Rock of Ages Wins Big at the First-Ever Golden Mullet Awards

The search is over: The Golden Mullet Awards have found their winners! Presented by Rock of Ages and Broadway.com, the tongue-in-cheek Mullets seek to honor those categories so overlooked by other awards ceremonies, including Nothing But a Kick Ass Band and Best "In the Heat of the Moment" Moment. Following the October 26 performance, the cast of Rock of Ages welcomed nominees ranging from Tony Award winner Greg Jbara to Hair Star Will Swenson (who appeared in the off-Broadway incarnation of Rock of Ages) for the main event, an outrageous post-show ceremony honoring the winners. Like a real mullet, it was business in the front as the awards made their away into the hands of the winners live onstage, and a party in the back as the nominees and revelers alike goofed off at the back of the house and backstage.
